HOUSTON — The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to take on the Houston Texans on Sunday without linebacker Telvin Smith and running back T.J. Yeldon.
Smith is missing his second-straight game with a shoulder injury and Yeldon is now missing his fourth contest of the season (three-straight with knee injury).
Joining Yeldon and Smith on the inactive list for the Jaguars are cornerback Demetrius McCray, wide receiver Bryan Walters, tight end Nic Jacobs, defensive end Chris Smith and right tackle Jermey Parnell.
Parnell suffered a hamstring injury in Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints. Veteran offensive tackle Sam Young is expected to start at right tackle.
