Jaguars in Review: Ground game gets no traction

The Jaguars’ running game minus T.J. Yeldon looks like the running game of 2013-14: Broken.

Ranked 18th after four games, the Jaguars’ rush offense is now 24th after gaining 83 yards on 20 carries in Sunday’s 31-20 loss to Houston.

Yeldon sat out with a groin injury and his status for Sunday’s game against Buffalo is uncertain.

The Jaguars’ longest carry against the Texans was a 12-yard Blake Bortles scramble. He has accounted for five of the team’s nine “explosive” carries (at least 12 yards) this year.
