The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly worked out veteran defensive end Jabaal Sheard, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Sheard has played for a number of teams since being drafted in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, most recently the Indianapolis Colts the past three seasons — starting all but three games in his time there and averaging over 5.0 sacks per season.
The defensive line needs all the help they can get at this point and while Sheard isn’t a game changer, he can help a young unit trying to find its way should the Jaguars sign him.
