Jaguars fall to Falcons, will finish with fifth straight losing season

The Jaguars are locked into their fifth-straight losing season.

Atlanta snapped a six-game losing streak, defeating the Jaguars 23-17 on Sunday at EverBank Field in the home finale. The Jaguars (5-9) are now all but eliminated from the AFC South race, as third-year coach Gus Bradley fell to 12-34.

Atlanta (7-7) kicked a 46-yard field goal to take a 23-17 lead with 1:42 left in the game.

Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles had one timeout to work with from his 11-yard line. He connected with receiver Marqise Lee on a 31-yard gain. The Jaguars then turned the ball over on downs after four plays.
