The Jaguars announced today that defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks tore his triceps tendon in Sunday's win at Baltimore.
Marks had an MRI after the game and is getting a second opinion on the injury today. Marks was injured while pass-rushing early in Sunday's third quarter.
The Jaguars did not rule him out for the season, but a torn triceps is almost always a season-ending injury and requires surgery. Among the players who have sustained triceps injuries in their careers are former Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis and current Carolina cornerback Charles Tillman.
Coupled with Michael Bennett's hamstring injury that kept him out of the Baltimore game, the Jaguars are short on defensive tackles.
