Even as the losses piled up in 2013-14, the Jaguars could always count on Sen’Derrick Marks to play well at defensive tackle, seasons of four sacks-33 tackles and 8 1/2 sacks-44 tackles.
But then Marks experienced two figurative lightning strikes – a torn anterior cruciate ligament at Houston Dec. 28, 2014 at Houston. Surgery followed and cost Marks the first five games of last year. And a torn triceps tendon at Baltimore Nov. 15, 2015. Surgery followed and Marks missed the last seven games.
On-track with his rehabilitation, Marks started the Jaguars’ off-season program Monday motivated to return to his disruptive self.
