Jaguars defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks remains confidence he will be available for the Sept. 13 season opener against Carolina.
“That’s my target,” he said after the opening training camp practice.
Marks tore his right ACL last Dec. 29 and is on the physically unable to perform list. He will likely stay on there until late August or even early September.
Asked if he wanted to return in time to play in a preseason game, Marks laughed and said: “I hope not. No training camp.”
Marks said he would like to return to practice a week before the Carolina game.
