The Jaguars have begun their final stage of preparations for the 2019 NFL Draft this past week, welcoming a handful of prospects to Jacksonville as part of their allotted 30 private workouts/meetings.
In the time that general manager Dave Caldwell has been here, the private visits have been a pretty good indicator of the possible directions the team may take come draft weekend, as the they have selected at least one player who spent time at the team’s facilities each year since 2013.
If that trend holds true, and there’s no evidence yet to point to it not being so, we can make a pretty good deduction as to the path the Jags are headed come April 25th, and it’s in the trenches.
