The teleconference with Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone on Monday didn’t change any of the narrative from last night’s comments regarding quarterback Nick Foles. When asked about the decision to stick with the veteran signal-caller, Marrone reiterated he felt it was the right decision based on which quarterback gives the team the best chance to win.
When asked, he also said he treats the quarterback position like every other one on the team, and if there was a player on the roster whom he thought would give the team a better chance to win on Sunday, he would make a change.
