Jaguars rookie defensive end Dante Fowler underwent surgery Wednesday to repair the anterior cruciate ligament he tore during a mini-camp practice May 8.
James Andrews performed the operation in Pensacola.
Fowler, the third overall pick on April 30, crumpled to the turf in the opening hour of the Jaguars' opening rookie mini-camp practice when he attempted to make an outside pass-rush move.
The Jaguars' plan is for Fowler to do his entire rehabiltation with the team.
