The Jaguars announced Thursday that defensive end Jared Odrick suffered a concussion in Wednesday’s practice.
Odrick will not practice Thursday and his status for Sunday’s opener against visiting Green Bay is now in question as he enters the NFL’s concussion protocol to return to play. The Jaguars listed Odrick as limited in Wednesday's practice with a jaw injury.
The news brightened a bit later Thursday when the Jaguars said Odrick had been cleared for conditioning work and to observe practice, the early steps in the protocol.
Odrick started every game for the Jaguars last season after signing as a free agent from Miami.
