Jaguars defensive end Chris Clemons met with reporters for the first time in training camp Monday afternoon following his practice debut.
Clemons isn’t expected to play Saturday when the Jaguars play their second preseason game at the New York Giants. Jaguars coach Gus Bradley seems content to bring the 33-year-old Clemons along slowly.
“That’s the plan to get re-acclimated to everything and getting back into football,” Clemons said. “Physically, I never felt out of it. That’s something I don’t do. They worked me back into it slowly and that was the plan since Day One.”
Bradley said Clemons was only put through individual work Monday.
