Jaguars could trade Tashaun Gipson, teams interested

Some think that the Jacksonville Jaguars could move on from starting safety Tashaun Gipson this season in a cap relief move, however it seems like some teams have contacted the Jaguars about a potential trade for the veteran instead.

Teams have called the #Jaguars to inquire about starting S Tashaun Gipson, sources say, and the belief is he’s available. Due more than $8M and Jax is in a cap crunch, but Gipson has played at a high level and is only 28.

Gipson, 28, has been a good player on the Jaguars defense since he was signed as a free agent in 2016 and some would argue has played at close to a Pro Bowl level.
