The Jaguars entered today with the top waiver-wire priority following league-wide final cuts to the initial 53-man rosters, today they made good use of that priority claiming deep-threat receiver Tyron Johnson off of waivers from the Los Angeles Chargers.
Three former Jaguars were claimed off of waivers, including former 2020 fifth-round pick, receiver Collin Johnson (New York Giants), linebacker Quincy Williams (New York Jets) and tight end Ben Ellefson (Minnesota Vikings).
Johnson, 25, entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State with the Houston Texans in 2019.
