The Jaguars claimed offensive tackle Tanner Hawkinson off waivers Monday; he was cut by Philadelphia on Friday.
Hawkinson played at Kansas and was a fifth-round pick in 2013 by Cincinnati and appeared in six games over two years with the Bengals (one as a rookie and three in 2014). Hawkinson was on San Francisco’s practice squad last year before signing with the Eagles and appearing in two games.
Hawkinson, 25, is the fifth offensive tackle on the Jaguars’ roster, joining Luke Joeckel, Jermey Parnell, Kelvin Beachum and Josh Wells.
