Following the team’s first preseason game, the Jaguars exited the contest relatively healthy, but two veterans will need some time to recover as the grind of training camp nears an end.
Speaking with the media on Tuesday, Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer announced that Tre Herndon will be “week-to-week” with an MCL sprain.
This could the veteran defensive back likely won’t be back with the team for the remainder of preseason, though Meyer didn’t specify an exact time for his return.
Another player, center Brandon Linder, will miss some time with patellar tendinitis. Meyer did say he was “fine,” however.
