Jaguars can’t overcome Taylor, Colts win 28-14

In what will likely lead to many changes on the coaching staff, the Jaguars would be defeated for a 15th-straight game, falling to the division rival Indianapolis Colts 28-14. What would be a valiant effort throughout the contest, the Jaguars simply couldn’t stop the Colts’ running game when they needed to.

The Jaguars will end the season with a franchise-worst record of 1-15, earning the first-overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

To begin the game, the Jaguars looked to be off to an unsightly, but familiar spot. The Colts would drive down the field and score a touchdown on its opening possession, thanks in part to rookie running back Jonathan Taylor, who would end the game having rushed 27 times for 241 yards and two touchdowns.
