According to reports, the Jaguars worked out linebacker Sam Barrington this past Friday.
In 2016, Barrington played six special team snaps with the Chiefs before going on to appear in 65 more with the Saints, where he primarily worked on kick returns, punt coverage, and punt return teams.
Barrington’s most extensive experience at linebacker came in 2014 when he was involved in 485 snaps with the Packers. His overall grade of 43.7 that season ranked 70th out of 94 qualifying linebackers.
