Jaguars awarded Jeff Tuel off waivers from Bills

The Jaguars have claimed third-year quarterback Jeff Tuel and released UDFA Jake Waters.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been awarded quarterback Jeff Tuel, formerly of the Buffalo Bills. Undrafted free agent quarterback Jake Waters has been released.

Tuel, 6-3, 221, was signed as an undrafted rookie by Buffalo in 2013 and played in two games with one start for the Bills over the past two seasons. He spent his entire rookie season on the 53-man roster and made his only career start on November 3, 2013 against Kansas City.
