After losing quarterbacks coach Scott Milanovich to the Edmonton Eskimos a few weeks ago, the Jaguars will have to search for a new assistant running backs coach. John Donovan, an offensive assistant for the Jaguars for the past four seasons has accepted the role of offensive coordinator at the University of Washington.
Donovan originally joined the Jaguars staff in 2016 as the team’s offensive quality control coach before being named assistant running backs coach following the 2018 season. In 2017, former Jaguars offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, credited Donovan for his work in the red zone, at one point the team went a perfect six for six against the Houston Texans.
