For this week’s installment of the state of the roster, we are going to split the linebacking core into two groups of inside and outside backers.
The first group, inside linebackers, is captained by perennial league tackling leader Foye Oluokun, who is then flanked by much younger talent all around. This grouping has had some growing pains with Devin Lloyd and Chad Muma, and has yet to even see Ventrell Miller on the field after injuries cost him his rookie year last season.
The inside linebackers provide good reason for fans to have solid optimism, but there are also question marks on whether this group is deep enough to stand the test of a full season.
