JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- Los Angeles may have two NFL teams next season, but if the writers at the satire website The Onion had their way, Jacksonville would also be getting a second NFL team.
The Onion writes that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced the city would get an expansion team called the "Jacksonville Pythons".
The Onion quotes Goodell as saying the Jaguars have set the bar high but "if the Jacksonville Pythons were to enjoy even a small fraction of the Jaguars’ popularity, this would be a worthwhile investment.”
