The Jacksonville Jaguars have made some recent transactions in the defensive backfield, as the team announced on Thursday it waived cornerback Luq Barcoo, while activating safety Daniel Thomas from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Both players are entering their second year in the NFL. Thomas was the Jaguars’ fifth-round pick out of Auburn in the 2020 NFL Draft, while Barcoo was signed by Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State last season, and ended up making the roster.
Barcoo played in three games in 2020, including a start against the Cleveland Browns.
