It’s a bit difficult to make predictions in Week 1 of the regular season since teams are taking the field for the first time and opponents don’t have much film to study. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars look better than the Houston Texans on paper and are favored to win the game by three points.
Both squads hired new head coaches and new general managers this year. The difference is that the Jags led the league in cap space and had a surplus of draft picks while Houston didn’t have first or second-round selections.
