The Jacksonville Jaguars kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a blowout win over the Indianapolis Colts last week, and now they must take down a fading Atlanta Falcons squad to continue their improbable run into the postseason.
After an embarrassing loss last week to the undefeated Carolina Panthers, the Falcons are underdogs to the Jaguars and almost no one is confident that they can go on the road and beat a Jaguars contingent that just put up 51 points.
It’s a conspicuously similar situation to the one a few weeks ago when the listless San Diego Chargers came to Jacksonville as underdogs and Philip Rivers decimated the Jaguar secondary.
