The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed second-year cornerback Parry Nickerson.
Nickerson was originally drafted by the New York Jets in the sixth round (179th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. He played in all 16 games for the Jets last season and recorded 19 tackles (16 solo) and one pass deflection. After spending the 2019 training camp with the Jets, Nickerson was traded to the Seattle Seahawks and spent Weeks 2-6 on Seattle’s practice squad.
Nickerson played collegiately at Tulane, where he finished his college career with 16 interceptions, the second-most in school history. His 31 career pass breakups rank third in school history.
