The Jacksonville Jaguars have renegotiated the contract of left guard Andrew Norwell according to Field Yates and other sources. Per Yates, Norwell, who signed a free-agent contract with the Jaguars in 2018, will earn a base salary of $9 million this season with an opportunity for incentives that will drive the price up an additional $2.5 million.
As part of his contract for 2020, Norwell, who played in Carolina before with the Jaguars, was scheduled to make $11.5M this season but it was not guaranteed.
The coaching staff has high hopes for the offensive line this coming season now that the unit will be working for offensive line coach George Warhop for a second season.
