Yesterday, the Jaguars completed their roster reduction to its initial 53-man roster, paving the way for the start of the season at home against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Sept. 13.
Now, the team has begun its next phase of roster management by adding players to its 16-man practice squad, a new variation of the practice squad that was expanded twice during the offseason; once to 12 due to the new collective bargaining agreement, and again due to the coronavirus pandemic that cast uncertainty throughout the entire league.
