The playoffs have eluded the Jacksonville Jaguars for years. They haven’t made an appearance since 2007, when quarterback David Garrard managed the most efficient offense in recent memory while guiding the Jags to the postseason.
There were opportunities for the next few years as Garrard and company opened a postseason window for the Jags:
- The 2008 Jags finished 5-11, losing eight of their final 10 games.
- The 2009 Jags finished 7-9, losing their final four games.
- The 2010 Jags finished 8-8, losing their final three games
Any one of those seasons could have brought the Jags back to the playoffs, but they kept falling short.
