The Jacksonville Jaguars made a big splash by landing Urban Meyer as head coach. While the news seemed imminent for a while, it was made official last night.
Not only are Jaguars fans excited about what Meyer can bring to Duval, but so are many current Jaguars players.
Several Jaguars, including wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr., offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor and wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. commented on the Jaguars’ Instagram post introducing Meyer. Meanwhile, defensive end Josh Allen was hyped up on Twitter.
Allen also gave Meyer a warm welcome to Jacksonville:

Will Richardson, who currently serves at the team’s backup offensive tackle, welcomed Coach Meyer as well:
Rodney Gunter, who the Jaguars signed as a free agent last offseason, but who was forced to sit out the 2020 season due to a heart condition, is excited for the prospects that Meyer can bring to Jacksonville.
