The Urban Meyer regime is now in full swing in Jacksonville, and it appears the Jaguars will not retain John Idzik Jr., who served as a special assistant to former general manager Dave Caldwell since 2015. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported the news.
The #Jaguars have parted ways with former special assistant to the GM John Idzik, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. The former #Jets GM was brought on to work with Dave Caldwell. Now, both are out.

Caldwell was fired in late November, and although the Jaguars are still looking for a new general manager, Idzik will not be with the organization moving forward.
