The Jacksonville Jaguars have had some major issues in recent years with some of their players off the field, most notably the frustrating and saddening downward spiral of former first round pick Justin Blackmon. Since general manager David Caldwell took over in 2013 however, those troubles have been few and far between.
With the dead period starting in the NFL before training camp, the Jaguars were hoping to keep a clean slate until through July. Unfortunately they didn’t even make it into July as linebacker Dan Skuta was arrested on misdemeanor battery charges earlier this month.
