The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted cornerback Breon Borders and offensive lineman Brandon Thomas from the practice squad to the 53-man active roster. To make room, the team placed rookie safety Ronnie Harrison (knee) and offensive lineman Jermey Parnell (knee) on the team’s reserve/injured list.
Borders has been on Jacksonville’s practice squad since Week 8. He originally signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted rookie in 2017 and spent the first 14 weeks of the 2017 season on the Raiders’ practice squad. Borders was on the Buffalo Bills’ active roster for the last two games of 2017, but was inactive in both contests.
