2017 free agency has been kind to the Jacksonville Jaguars and it only continues.
Bringing in Lerentee McCray, the special teams ace from the Buffalo Bills is a perfect value addition for the Jaguars. It’s a simple move, much like some of the team’s re-signing, but it still addresses the need to improve in a key area.
Last season the special teams unit continually screwed up in coverage and in returns. Now with a new coordinator, Joe DeCamillis, the unit hopes to rebound. DeCamillis was likely instrumental in nabbing McCray in free agency as he coached him in Denver during the 2015 season.
