The Jacksonville Jaguars wrapped up their preseason in entertaining fashion on Thursday night, defeating the Washington Redskins on the road. The final score (17-16) couldn’t matter less, but the Jaguars had a good showing with their backups. Almost all of the starters sat and a majority of players we saw on the field won’t be on the active roster next week.
One player who will almost certainly be on the roster next week is rookie running back Corey Grant. Already pushing for a roster spot thanks to his terrific kick return ability, Grant all but locked up a slot on the team with his amazing performance on Thursday night.
