The Jacksonville Jaguars wasted no time in cutting their roster down to the league-mandated 53 players this weekend. Starting on Friday, the Jaguars began cutting players, showing decisive action in paring the roster down.
For some, like Stephen Morris or Ben Koyack (a seventh round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft) it comes as a bit of an expected development. Both players were fighting for spots at positions that were already well-set.
For others, like cornerback Jeremy Harris, running back Storm Johnson, and wide receiver Neal Sterling (2015 draft pick), it comes as a result of just not doing enough to warrant a spot on the final 53.
