Coaching matters in the NFL and so does having access to the best resources available. That’s why the Jacksonville Jaguars fired Doug Marrone and hired Urban Meyer as their head coach this offseason. The Ohio native is barely going to make his debut in the pros. Nevertheless, he’s got plenty of experience at the collegiate level, where he won three FBS National Championships. Also, he is one of the most winningest coaches in college history.
It looks like the Jags got their coaching hire right, as Meyer has made several decisions that should benefit the organization.
