Defensive tackle Stefan Charles spent just one season with the Detroit Lions before popping down to join the Jacksonville Jaguars. The three seasons before were spent with the Buffalo Bills.
The former undrafted free agent has 49 game appearances and two starts during his four-year career. He was drafted by the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League in 2013 but ended up playing for the NFL’s Bills.
Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union expects the Jaguars to allow Charles to compete with defensive tackle backups Sheldon Day and Michael Bennett for playing time behind Abry Jones and Malik Jackson.
