The Jacksonville Jaguars take on the New York Giants in Week 2 of the preseason on Saturday. While mostly an evaluation tool, preseason games give the fanbase a chance to finally see their team take the field and play real* football.
It’s an exciting time for the NFL fandom and while keeping the team healthy is a top priority, it’s always a shame when we don’t get to see a player we like take a few snaps.
So far, eight players have been ruled out by head coach Gus Bradley. They are:
- Julius Thomas (hand)
- Johnathan Cyprien (finger)
- Marqise Lee (hamstring)
- James Sample (forearm)
- Chris Clemons (personal)
- Peyton Thompson (hamstring)
- Brennan Williams (knee)
- Neal Sterling (hamstring)
Clemons has just returned to practice after missing the first two weeks of training camp for personal reasons.
