You can’t blame the Jacksonville Jaguars for cleaning house after going 1-15 last year. They needed a fresh start after winning just 12 games over the last three seasons. Looking back, former general manager Dave Caldwell seemed to be more interested in hoarding draft picks and cap space instead of adding playmakers and keeping the few they had.
In the end, Caldwell wasn’t able to use all the resources he accumulated because the Jags fired him last year. He was so focused on building for the future that he failed to replenish the roster on a consistent basis.
