Injuries are a part of professional football. It’s incredibly rare for a player to not miss time at some point in any given season and those that manage to string together years without missing a snap are among the most heroic in professional sports.
Unfortunately, not every player can be perfectly healthy all the time and it can hurt a franchise’s offseason hopes when they lose a key player for a significant part of the season. All teams go through this and the teams that manage their roster best and have a “next man up” mentality – and the depth – can often find ways to succeed despite the injury adversity.
