You might have probably heard that New Orleans wide receiver Michael Thomas underwent surgery to repair ligaments in his ankle in June, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. The insider says that four months of recovery are recommended, which means that the All-Pro could be sidelined for weeks.
This is a big blow for New Orleans and their playoff hopes in 2021. After losing Thomas, they don’t have enough firepower to keep up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the rest of the NFC South.
