Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler had a blunt assessment of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
“He’s the best QB in the game, simple,” Fowler said. “You really can’t say anything else about it.”
With an array of hard counts, the ability to avoid pass-rushers in the pocket while finding open receivers downfield, and a strong, accurate arm capable of making any throw necessary, the former NFL MVP will provide Fowler and a revamped Jaguars defense with a huge opening game challenge on Sunday.
Just how effective they are containing Rodgers will go a long way toward determining if the team can get its biggest win under coach Gus Bradley.
