Although not at the rapid rate he interviewed offensive coordinator candidates last January, Jaguars coach Gus Bradley picked up the pace this week in finding a new defensive coordinator.
Bradley fired Bob Babich Jan. 5 and after a week of over-the-phone vetting, he welcomed defensive backs coaches Marquand Manuel of the Atlanta Falcons and Lou Anarumo of the Miami Dolphins to Jacksonville for interviews Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
A source said Bradley hopes to have the search wrapped up by Jan. 25, when the Jaguars’ coaching staff leaves for Mobile, Ala., and their third straight assignment coaching in the Senior Bowl.
