The former second-round draft pick has been promoted within the Jaguars front office.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have named Greg Jones as a scouting associate within the front office. Jones formerly served as a coaching intern.
Jones will be supporting all of the team’s college area scouts, while working from EverBank Field.
As a player, Jones played nine seasons with the Jaguars as a fullback and running back. He appeared in 115 career games for Jacksonville. He rushed for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns in his eight-year career in Jacksonville. His best season came in 2005 when he rushed for 575 yards, caught 10 passes, and had four touchdowns total.
