JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — If you have criticism for Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Dwayne Gratz, you're not alone.
In fact, the former third round pick knows that he has to improve this season.
The third-year player has started the majority of the last two seasons, but has dealt with adversity throughout his young career due to his inconsistent performance.
According to Gratz, his strategy for improving is more about his mental preparation than his physical training.
"The one thing I wanted to focus on [this offseason] was my mindset," said Gratz.
"I know I have the athletic ability to play at this level, but whoever said 'Football is 90-percent mental,' couldn't have been [more correct].
