Jaguars report card
Times-Union sports columnist Gene Frenette grades the Jaguars’ performance against the Baltimore Ravens based on production, effort and game circumstances.
Run Offense – F
While it’s tough to have center Tyler Shatley and left guard Chris Reed making their first NFL start against a stout Ravens’ defensive front, the inability to produce even a modest ground attack is becoming a huge issue. Chris Ivory’s return did nothing to provide a spark as he and T.J. Yeldon combined for only 31 yards on 18 carries. The discouraging thing is there’s little certainty a turnaround will happen when O-linemen Brandon Linder and Kelvin Beachum are back in starting lineup.
