Jaguars defensive end Jared Odrick said a “culmination of everything,” led to his charged sideline outburst during the second half of Sunday’s 38-14 loss at San Diego.
Upon receiving back-to-back neutral zone and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties — resulting in 20 yards for the Chargers — Odrick launched into a rant once taken out of the game.
Defensive end Dante Fowler and tight end Marcedes Lewis attempted to corral Odrick, who eventually sat on the bench and stewed. Video of the situation gave the impression that Odrick was equal parts screaming at the Jaguars’ offense and coach Gus Bradley.
