Per Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com, the Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed tight end James O’Shaughnessy, the team announced Thursday.
This will O’Shaughnessy’s third season with the team. He led the Jaguars tight ends with 24 catches for 214 yards in 2018. He became the starter at the position by default after both Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Niles Paul went down with season-ending injuries. Neither player will be on the team’s roster this season.
James O’Shaughnessy adds depth to one of the team’s weakest positions this offseason. The team announced it had signed former Dallas Cowboys tight end Geoff Swaim last week.
