Offensive tackle Eben Britton, drafted in the second round by the Jaguars in 2009, will be suspended for the first four games of the 2015 season if he signs with another team according to multiple media reports.
Britton, who played 10 games with the Bears last year, is currently a free agent. It is uncertain if the suspension was for steroids or drugs.
In the first draft conducted by former Jaguars general manager Gene Smith in 2009, the Jaguars selected offensive tackles Eugene Monroe and Britton in the first two rounds. They took Britton over LeSean McCoy, who went to the Eagles later in the second round.
